Rhye's and Fall of Civilization Unique Historical Victories
From Rhye's Mods Wiki

Introduction
Each Civilization can achieve an “Historical Victory” by fulfilling 3 specific goals. The goals differ from civ to civ, aiming to match the historical accomplishments and aspirations of each in a fun and interesting way. With them, even a civilization with a weaker starting situation such as the Aztecs has a chance of ultimate success. When 2 of the 3 goals are achieved, a “Triumphal Arch” is automatically built in a player’s capital. The triumphal arch affords several benefits, foremost among them the triggering of a Golden Age.
For further clarification of area-based objectives, refer to the RFC Atlas.
Egypt
Have more than 500 Culture in 700 BC Have your total culture as more than 500 in 700 BC. Total culture can be checked on the domestic advisor screen. Culture can be increased by certain buildings, specialists and Great Artist. These buildings and specialists have +(number) and then a little purple musical note and give that many culture every turn.
Build the Pyramid, the Great Library, and the Great Lighthouse by 250 AD In any of your cities you must build the Pyramid, the Great Library, and the Great Lighthouse. You may NOT conquer cities with these wonders in. The Pyramid and The Great Lighthouse are available at masonry, the Great Library is available at literature.
Have more than 5000 Culture in 450 AD Have your total culture as more than 5000 in 450 AD. Total culture can be checked on the domestic advisor screen. Culture can be increased by certain buildings, specialists and great people. These buildings and specialists have +(number) and then a little purple musical note and give that many culture every turn.
India
Found Buddhism and Hinduism You must found Buddhism and Hinduism. To do so, you MUST be the first to reach Meditation (Hinduism) and Priesthood (Buddhism)
Found at least 5 religions You must found five religions. These include Buddhism and Hinduism for the first condition.
Be 1st in population in 1200 AD Be the first in total population in 1200 AD. Your total population versus the total of the highest population can be found in the Demographics screen.
China
Build 2 Confucian Academies and 2 Taoist Pagodas by 1000 AD You must spread Confucianism (founded by first who discovered Mathematics) and Taoism (founded by first who discovered Calendar) to at least eight of your cities and build 8 Confucian Temples and 8 Taoist Temples. Once this is done you can build 2 academies and 2 Pagodas after the discovery of Meditation. Theoretically you don't have to found religions by yourself but practically you can't reach this goal without it.
No city lost to barbarians or to Mongols before 1400 AD You must not lose any of your cities to the barbarians or the Mongols, losing them to other civs is OK though as well as losing cities to Mongols because of congress or other trade. The barbarians appear in Tibet to the south west as Swordsmen and on your northern borders as Horse Archers, The best counter to Swordsmen are Axemen and the best counter to Horse Archers are Spearmen. Another option is to build the Great Wall (requires Construction), which keeps all barbarians outside your city boundaries, although it does not affect other civs, including the Mongols. The Mongols Spawn in the 11th Century on your northern border and start with their unique unit, Keshiks, which replace Horse Archers, the perfect counter to these are elephants, which have a strength of 8 and a 50% bonus against mounted units. The only drawback is that you need Ivory (there is some in the south or you can trade it from India) and the corresponding tech to train them. Pikemen work just as well if you have engineering and requires Iron instead of Ivory.
Control an army of 120 units in 1600 AD You must build 120 military units. Boats, Workers, Settlers and Missionaries do not count. (Nationhood and the draft might come in useful if you're too late)
Babylonia
Be the first to discover Writing, Code of Laws and Monarchy You must be the first Civilization to research said technologies. Beware, the Chinese go sometimes straight to Writing and the Persians start with Monarchy already in their possession. This means that when the Persians spawn you must have already researched Monarchy.
Make Babylon the #1 cultural city in 700 BC Babili must have more culture than any other built city in 700 BC. Contestants are mostly the Capitals of Egypt, India and China (especially Delhi- the capital of India). This can be checked in the "5 biggest-cities of the world" screen. The city on top has the most culture. Beware: This goal specifically needs Babili to be the most cultural city, meaning the city standing on the tile you start on.
Make Babylon the most populous city in the world in 700 BC Babili must be the biggest city in 700 BC which shouldn't be that big of a problem as you are starting in flood plains. Beware: This goal specifically needs Babili to be the most populous city, meaning the city standing on the tile you start on.
Greece
Be the first to discover Literature, Drama and Philosophy You must be the first Civilization to research said technologies. There are no other Civilizations of the immediate future that start with any of those technologies.
Build the Oracle, the Parthenon, the Colossus and the Temple of Artemis by 50 AD This goal needs you to build, not control, the Oracle, the Parthenon, the Colossus and - only in the Warlords version - the Temple of Artemis by 50 AD. As this timeline might be close, you can conquer Hattusas in the area of modern Turkey which is a good production site for wonders.
Be the first to circumnavigate You must be the first to circumnavigate the World. To achieve this goal you need knowledge of the map spawning "one circle" around the globe. This needs you to either trade maps or send out Caravels, the first vessel that can travel Oceans on a Magellan Voyage.
Carthage
Secure 3 dye resources by 350 AD You must be in possession of 3 dye resources by 350 AD. One can be found in Egypt, in the West of the Nile Delta, the second and third can be found near the city of As-Sur in modern Syria or in Thailand, South East Asia, if you want to travel far. Be aware, Babylon will claim As-Sur for herself. There's also one in Seoul if you're adventurous.
Control 5 coastal cities in the Mediterranean in 350 AD You must have 5 cities on coastal tiles around the Mediterranean by 350 AD. You do not have to build them, conquering them can be an option.
Be the first to circumnavigate You must be the first to circumnavigate the World. To achieve this goal you need knowledge of the map spawning "one circle" around the globe. This needs you to either trade maps or send out Caravels, the first vessel that can travel Oceans on a Magellan Voyage.
Persia
Control 8% of world territory by 600 AD You must control 8% of the world territory by 600 AD. You can check your amount in the victory screen where your percentage and the one of your best opponent is shown. This is a very difficult condition, but there are some very good strategy articles on it. Babylon, Egypt and India are essential, and while Greece is tough (remember 300?), Asia Minor and Samarkand should be open for colonization or conquest.
Control 7 world wonders by 700 AD You must control 7 world wonders by 700 AD. It doesn't matter which wonders and you do not have to build them, conquering is an option. Shrines do not count as wonders.
Control 2 holy city shrines in 700 AD To build 2 shrines you need 2 holy cities and two great priests. Holy cities can be found in India (Buddhism, Hinduism), Urshalim/Yerushalyim/Jerusalem (Judaism), Greece (Christianity) and Arabia (Islam). The order represents difficulty as well. Best bets are to get your 2 prophets in Babylon (with appropriate wonders) and send them to Delhi (Buddhism and Hinduism).
Rome
Build 5 Barracks, 5 Aqueducts and 5 Amphitheatres by 450 AD
Control in 450 AD all the area historically comprehended in the Western Roman Empire Check the Atlas on the geographical details of what is the Western Roman Empire. Be aware that you do not have to conquer Carthage (2 cities in north African will count as control) but obviously without Cathage it will be more profitable for you later.
Never lost a single city to barbarians before 1000 AD You may never lose a city to barbarians, but you can to anyone else. The Great Wall prevents Barbarians from entering your borders, so it is the easiest solution. Remember that Great Wall doesn't prevent Natives from entering your borders but losing city to them is OK. If you play vanilla or another Civilization was faster than you, the Barbarians attack around Carthago with Camel Archers (counter: spearman) and all over Europe with Axemen and Swordsmen (counter: Praetorian or later units). If you cannot defend a city, you might gift them to any other civilization, especially after 450 AD.
Japan
No foreign culture in any plot of Honshu (Japanese main island) in 1700 AD There may never be foreign culture in the Japanese main island. Contestants for this can be Independent Seoul, the whole Civilization of China or any unlikely aggressor conquering anything on the Island. Check carefully all the tiles or/and control the cities that could bring culture to Honshu.
Be 1st in score in 1930 AD You must be the first of the scoreboard list on the right of the screen (above the minimap) in 1930 AD. Beware: The list lists only civilizations you know or knew at the time of their death. Their might be other Civilizations on the other side of the Earth having a higher score than you.
Be the first to complete the tech tree
Ethiopia
Found one religion This usually means Christianity or Islam (the former is easier and historically more accurate, plus it gives foreign relations advantages with the Europeans and Egypt)
No European colonies in east and subequatorial Africa in 1500 AD
No European colonies in east and subequatorial Africa in 1910 AD Be aware that you cannot just conquer any colonies that pop up. Once a colony is built, even if you make it all Ethiopian you lose the UHV; the only alternative is to raze the city.
Maya
Discover Calendar by 600 AD
Build the Temple of Kukulkan by 900 AD
Never lose a single city until 1745 AD
Vikings
Have 5000 gold in 1500 AD You need to have 5000 gold in 1500 AD. Gold can be gotten by putting the science slider to zero, on city conquest (depends on size of city), with pillaging the landscape (Viking Unique Power: Pillaging yields 4 times more), with map, technology, resource selling or - if you're strong an pressed - with asking for tribute.
Sink 25 ships You must sink 25 vessels and you have time until 2050 (end of the game) for this. Beware: Workboats do not count as ships.
Be the first to found a city in America You must be the first civilization (excluding barbarians, minor civs and American civs) to found, not conquer, a city in America. America means all of the continent plus all islands and Greenland, if you really want to settle there. For settling America you need Galleons which you can build with the technology Astronomy.
Arabia
Control 3 Holy cities in 1300 AD You will be in possession of the holy city of Islam, the holy city of Judaism can most probably be found in Urshalim (Yerushalyim, Jerusalem). For the third holy city, India is the easiest. The only other option is Rome (Christianity) which is very difficult to conquer. India is usually lightly defended, as is Persia (which is in between) and spends a lot of time divided into city states. Note that you need to control holy cities, it doesn't matter whether they have shrines or not.
Control or make vassal states of Egypt, Spain and Carthage by 1300 AD For a visual representation of the area needed to be controlled, check the Atlas (not available at the moment). This is by far the hardest one, and you need to focus mainly on this from the start. Speed through North Africa quickly and build roads to Morocco for quick and safe transport to Spain.
Spread Islam to 40% Remember, you have all the time of the world for achieving this goal. The quota can be checked in the religious screen at any time. It is calculated by taking into account the population per city divided with the religions present in the city. That means that the civic theology can help you achieve this goal as it disallows non-state religion spread. Your UP and missionaries will be useful too.
Khmer
Have more than 12000 Culture in 1450 AD Have your total culture as more than 12000 in 1450 BC. Total culture can be checked on the domestic advisor screen. Culture can be increased by certain buildings, specialists and Great Artist. These buildings and specialists have +(number) and then a little purple musical note and give that many culture every turn
Have an average city size of 10 or more in 1450 AD The city size of all your cities are added together and devided by the number of cities you posses. This number neads to be 10 or more to win. Try to collect luxury and food resources for this as well as buildings which help happiness or health. Your UB should help with this goal.
Spread Buddhism to 30% The is no time limit for this goal. You can check the percentage spread of Buddhism in the religious advisor screen. It is calculated by calculating the population of each city with your religion divided with the religions present in the city and then finding that as a percentage of the worlds population. The civics Theocracy and Organized religion can help by not letting non state religions spread or by allowing missionaries easier respectivly. Alternativly having no state religion helps you get open borders easier.
Spain
Be the first to found a city in America You must be the first civilization (excluding barbarians, minor civs and American civs) to found, not conquer, a city in America. America means all of the continent plus all islands. For settling America you need Galleons which you can build with the technology Astronomy.
No English, or French, or Dutch cities in the Americas in 1700 AD There may be no English, or French, or Dutch city on the whole American continent and its islands. Make sure to check all the islands as America is a big continent.
Control Aztec and Incan territory in 1760 AD Check the atlas on the details on what tiles are though of as Aztec and Incan territory (= spawning area).
France
Make Paris the #1 cultural city in 1700 AD Paris must have more culture than any other built city in 1700 AD. Contestants are mostly Chinese cities and Delhi. This can be checked in the "5 biggest-cities of the world" screen. The city on top has the most culture. Beware: This goal specifically needs Paris to be the most cultural city, meaning the city standing on the tile you start on.
Colonize Quebec, the Hudson Bay and Louisiana by 1760 AD You must have at least 3 cities in Quebec and the Hudson Bay area and at least 1 city in Louisiana area by 1760 AD. Check the atlas for the details. You have to build them, conquering them can't be an option.
Build Notre Dame, the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower by 1900 AD This goal needs you to build, not control, Notre Dame, the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower by 1900 AD.
England/Britain
Be the first to circumnavigate You must be the first to circumnavigate the World. To achieve this goal you need knowledge of the map spawning "one circle" around the globe. This needs you to either trade maps or send out Caravels, the first vessel that can travel Oceans on a Magellan Voyage.
Found at least 3 cities in every continent by 1730 AD You must build at least 3 cities in every continent (North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Oceania, Africa), by 1730 AD. You need to build 3 cities on every of 5 continents for the total sum of 15 cities. You have to build them, conquering them can't be an option.
First to enter Industrial and Modern era You must be the first Civilization to research any Industrial era technology and eventually any Modern era technology.
Germany
Control Greece, Rome and France in 1870 AD You must control Greek, Roman and French spawn area by 1870 AD. Check the atlas for the details.
Control England, Scandinavia and Russia in 1940 AD You must control English, Viking and Russian spawn area by 1940 AD. Check the atlas for the details.
Be the first to complete the tech tree You must be the first Civilization to research every technology, including the Future Tech.
Russia
Colonize Siberia (7 cities) by 1700 AD Check the atlas for details.
Build the Apollo Program by 1950 AD To do this, you must be the first civilization to discover Rocketry. If you aren't, try to gain as much info on other civilizations to see if any of them are building the Apollo Program. If ALL of them aren't (but it's likely America will), and someone has Rocketry, you can trade for it.
Never lost a single city until 1950 AD This is hard due to Germany's second UHV.
Netherlands
Have the most extended map of the world in 1600 AD You need to be the civ with the most extensive map by 1600. You can acquire maps from friendly tribes, friendly civs or by scouting every continent.
Be the first to found a city in Australia This is going to be hard due to the first and second English UHVs if you're not quick enough to research Astronomy and/or Optics.
Secure or get by trade 7 spices resources by 1775 AD You can find these spice resources within the Southeast Asia region, so try to establish colonies there if the Khmer or Japanese have settled there, or trade with them and any other Eastern/Middle-Eastern civ that has it.
Mali
Be the 1st in gold in 1300 AD This means you must have the highest treasury by 1300 AD. Check the financial screen in the interface to see where you come.
Have 4000 gold in 1500 AD
Have 16000 gold in 1700 AD
Note: You may have to set your science funding to zero to stockpile huge amounts of gold, and trade your resources or something else for those techs. Remember to be as low as possible when other civilizations are asking for money. You can gain huge boosts to gold production by building markets, banks and the like, as well as producing merchant specialists.
Portugal
Have the most explored map of the world in 1500 AD This may be difficult due to the first Dutch UHV, first English UHV and second English UHV if you aren't quick enough to research Astronomy and/or Optics.
Have open borders agreement with 12 other civs in 1650 AD Engaging war with another civilization does not count as open borders.
Found 15 extra-European colonies This means that you have to found 15 colonies in any of the other continents. Despite having no time limit, be wary of the cultural borders of the other civilization (especially the English due to their second UHV)
Inca
No European colonies in South America (except Brazil) in 1600 AD
Have 3000 gold in 1700 AD This goal isn't as drastic as what you have to do with Mali, but you may follow the same strategy.
No European colonies in South America (except Brazil) in 1800 AD This means it's OK for the Americans, Meso-American civs, African civs and Asian civs to found cities in South America. For further info see the RFC atlas.
Mongolia
Control China by 1300 AD You must either make a vassal out of China or control all of their cities within the China.
Raze at least 7 cities This doesn't include the Chinese cities within the China region
Control 12% of world territory by 1500 AD This does include China for the first UHV.
Aztecs
Enslave 5 European units
No European colonies in Central America and Southern United States in 1700 AD
Enter Industrial era by 1860 AD
Turkey
Control the Bosporus (the Istanbul Strait) by 1500 AD This should be simple as you should just direct your forces towards Constantinople when you start.
Control the Balkans, the Black Sea and Mesopotamia in 1700 AD This means 3 cities in each of these areas (conquered or founded).
Have as vassal states at least 3 other civs in 1870 AD The most obvious candidates will be Arabia after you force it to capitulate it, and later (when it spawn from the break up of Arabia) Persia and (when it spawns from Independents) Egypt. If you play in Viceroy mode India and Khmer will also be good candidates. The European civs seem to be too proud to do it, or when they do capitulate they spontaneously combust.
America
No European colonies in the whole American continent in 1930 AD
Build the UN, the Statue of Liberty and the Pentagon by 2000 AD
Secure 10 oil resources by 2000 AD
