LAB 22 is the short name for Laboratory for the Creation of Intelligent Systems.
"LAB 22" refers not only to a laboratory; it can be intended as a brand for everything that gets created here, which is based on the research for innovation through interdisciplinarity.

	The main fields of research are social robotics, human-machine interaction, robot aesthetics, and procedural content generation.
IGP program allows students to start doing research from the 1st year of Bachelor's. If you are interested, please apply. We are looking for a native Arabic speaker!
	We collaborate with many labs, both in Japan and overseas. To name a few, Takanishi Lab and Sugano Lab from Waseda University, Shinkuma Lab from Shibaura Institute of Technology; Siegen University in Germany, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
